Epson BrightLink Pro Turns Meeting Room into Collaboration Space

Did you ever wish you could take what was on your PC — whether graphs, displays video or other documents — and share it with a room full of colleagues? How about sharing that material with co-workers in different locations on various computers and mobile devices? And what if you could make it easier to collaborate and manipulate those documents in brainstorming sessions with your whole team?

The Epson BrightLink Pro All-in-One Interactive Display with the Da-Lite IDEA screen and the BrightLink Pro All-in-One Interactive Table shows an understanding of these demands in the new collaborative business environment and delivers on all points.

The BrightLink Pro All-in-One essentially brings all the capabilities of a tablet and makes them available on an 87-inch or 100-inch Da-Lite IDEA screen. It lets you write, collaborate and brainstorm on the display in real time using a digital pen or finger touch option. Just as in a smart mobile device, you can use your fingers to enlarge, scroll, swipe and do other similar gestures. This can take place in the meeting room or remotely on a range of devices, including smartphones, tablets and PCs.

The new offering by Epson still has the BrightLink Pro 1420WI or 1430Wi, but with the All-in-One option you get the 87-inch or 100-inch Da-Lite IDEA screen, and you can opt to add the Interactive Table.

What Can You Do with the BrightLink Pro?

You can work together with your co-workers or other participants even if you are not in the same room by connecting with an internal network, or using a VPN to collaborate remotely. You can connect another BrightLink Pro or up to 50 Windows, Mac, iOS or Android devices to share information in real-time or make it available for download when the meeting is over.

BrightLink Pro is compatible with existing unified communications and video conferencing applications, such as WebEx, GoToMeeting and Microsoft Lync, as well as standalone systems from Polycom, Lifesize, Cisco or Lync Room Solution Systems.

The BrightLink Pro All-in-One Interactive Table

Because not every office environment needs a fixed installation, the Interactive Table makes the BrightLink Pro display a mobile platform that can be wheeled to any office or conference room at your company. Just as with the Da-Lite IDEA screen, presentations, illustrations, animations, and more can be projected on the 50” x 67” hard top design without losing the digital pen or finger touch capabilities.

The table has a motorized height adjustment, vertical and horizontal table angles and provides easy access for those in wheelchairs.

As the saying goes, you get what you pay for, and this solution offers a lot. So the question is whether your small business can afford the hefty price tag on this system and whether your need for better collaboration really justifies that cost.

The BrightLink Pro All-in-One Interactive Display bundle is now available for $4,799 for the 87-inch display, and the 100-inch display will cost you $4,199.

If you just want to get the BrightLink Pro 1430Wi with a wall mount it can be had for $2,999, and the 1420Wi comes in at $2,799.

The BrightLink Pro All-in-One Interactive Table bundle will be available in July 2016.

As Remi Del Mar, product manager, Epson America, Inc., says in a company release, “Technology is changing how we ideate, communicate and conduct meetings.” But in order to make this possible, business teams need solutions that can leverage the technology all teams want to use and make it available without any complications.

The BrightLink Pro All-in-One Interactive Display with the Da-Lite IDEA screen and the BrightLink Pro All-in-One Interactive Table make that possible, the company says. The question is whether it fits into mot small business owners’ budgets.
